The developers at Alpina have worked with lavalan®, a Bavarian wool production company near Dinkelsbühl, to create something unique: PROLAN™. Wool that protects. Not just from the cold, bad smells or plastic in the sea. PROLAN™ is sheep's wool that has been processed in such a way that the cushioning properties go beyond the functionality of conventional protectors. What sounds unbelievable at first has been checked in numerous tests and confirmed by TÜV. The new Alpina protector with PROLAN™ meets the 1621-2 Level 1 standard. PROLAN™ is an innovation that hasn't been seen in the sports industry for a long time.
