The name says it all with the Core Protect Rope: In order to better protect the rope from sharp rock and metal edges, there is a Extra aramid jacket between the polyamide outer jacket and core. In the event of a fall, this aramid sheath unfolds thanks to its extra-long construction, and the rope behaves just as dynamically as any other Mammut rope. Handling and abrasion resistance also remain the same, but cut resistance increases.
