Salewa Puez 25L PTX Jacket - In order to guarantee optimal protection in harsh conditions, we developed and extensively tested Salewa's Puez Aqua Jacket between the rugged mountain peaks of the Dolomites. The 2.5-layer ripstop fabric with Powertext® membrane consists of 57 percent recycled materials and is the ideal companion in adverse weather conditions. With a water column of 10,000 millimeters, the material is reliably waterproof: The water column describes the pressure that is needed until water can penetrate through the material. Nevertheless, the jacket remains extremely breathable at 10,000 g/m²/24h: This means that 10 liters of water vapor per square meter can evaporate within 24 hours - so the jacket promises to be comfortable to wear even during strenuous activities.
The design as well The features of the jacket are designed for full functionality for alpine hikes and trekking tours: The fully welded seams, the waterproof zippers and the permanently water-repellent DWR coating reliably protect against moisture and rain on the front as well as on the pockets. At 310 grams, the Puez Aqua is lightweight - and weighs just the weight of two apples when stored in a backpack.
The Puez Aqua is made from recycled materials and with a PFC-free, permanently water-repellent DWR -Finish and is part of the Salewa® Committed collection, where products are produced according to independently tested environmental and social standards.
