The Scarpa Boostic is a technical climbing shoe for advanced climbers who feel really comfortable on the smallest of footholds when bouldering and sport climbing. The shoe owes this property to its rather narrow, highly asymmetrical fit with a strong downturn. This allows you to precisely stand on small footholds, as well as pull on ledges in overhangs.
Support for that last bit of performance.The Boostic benefits from its well-thought-out V-Tension System. This supports the arch of the foot and the forefoot area, so that all the force is redirected to the toe area.
The system consists of a tensioned rubber and thus ensures optimal support for the foot, especially on endurance tours at higher levels of difficulty! In addition, there is the so-called Pressure Absorbing Fit (PAF) system, which distributes the heel tension. The strong tension band is interrupted behind the heel to reduce the pressure on the Achilles tendon. There it is connected to a softer rubber that acts like a kind of bridge and allows complete adjustment to the individual heel shape. Good to know: The holes at the top of the PAF serve as an indicator to see how strong the pre-tension is. Three holes on this model mean: strong tension.
