During the development of the P49, which weighs only 49 grams, the Dynafit engineers broke with old conventions and reinterpreted the functionalities between binding and boot. The result is the innovative Pintech system - consisting of the P49 binding and the DNA Pintech by Pierre Gignoux ski touring boot - in which the principle of pins and inserts has been turned on its head, so to speak. Together, the revolutionary system brings SkiMo competition to a new level.
Thanks to the perfect interaction of the guide lines (Guided Notch Entry) of the P49 binding and the dynamic, spring-loaded pins in the shoe (ejector pins), you can easily get into the enter binding. The P49 binding is released with a simple and quick movement and the ski is right in your hand. The P49 enables the fastest change from uphill to downhill on the market! This keeps you one step ahead of the competition in the fight against time.
The lateral and vertical release is set to a fixed value, which has been recognized by experienced SkiMo athletes over the years as the best balance between safety and Stability was determined.
